New A was born January 27th, 2013.
2013-2026
2013-2014
Founding Year
New BK & Man A founded, the first of the boroughs. New BK experiences massive zombie attacks against villagers at the time, the first home was built that still stands to this day. New J was also founded around 2014.
2014-2016
Silent Growth
The first variation of the One World Trade Center was built in 2015, New A experienced a huge renaissance of growth with redstone rail lines lining both New BK and Man A. Many other places were founded, such as New S, North C, V Beach.
2016-2018
Terror & Downfall
Still, the sand superflat it was, multiple glitches were found in the world, causing chunk bugs around the outskirts of New A. Building was extremely hard with parcels being taken up & sand being the main thing getting in between construction workers. Construction slowed. V Beach became a remote getaway with slow/beach in the same state. Tourism was up with the "Tiger Bus" network.
2018-2020
Extreme Growth
By 2018, new tools (WorldEdit) & mods were introduced. During this time, Midtown Man A became a development priority. The entire desert superflat was changed to grass. More modernized buildings began popping up, and exposed redstone rail was completely demolished. By late 2019 the Empire State Building was built. Lots of iPhone X ads.
2020-2022
Continuation / Gentrification
COVID-19 Pandemic hits & New A shuts down for a while. Upon reopening, growth continued, more skyscrapers & modernization. An underground Metro system was finally added by early 2020. Some older structures were destroyed, in 2021 land prices rose incredibly due to a lack of parcels in Man A. To compensate, Man A increased land size & New BK began building more. Chicago was also added that came with rising GDP near North C.
2022-2024
Solidification
To celebrate 10 years in 2023, Downtown New BK was revamped, and a fountain was built to commemorate it. Man A's land was expanded once more, roads started becoming larger & zoning started becoming enforced. Other boroughs received upgraded bridges, and large highways were introduced. In 2023, many skyscrapers were built & Long Island was established, previously separated from New BK by a river, now divided by a highway.
2024 - 2026
Modernization
At the start of 2024 the entire game was updated from 1.12.2 to 1.18.2. This means all modded furniture/stuff was deleted & had to be re-added. Rules were then set for building (Do not create a single structure using modded blocks). New BK & Man A Bridges were upgraded. Only furniture & interiors were allowed to be modded. During 2024-2025 the South experienced full modernization, updated borders, & better looking buildings built. Land prices spiked during 2025. Supertalls took over Midtown Man A, and Upper Man A & New B were founded.
